Universal has dropped new images and a brand-new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, giving us our first look at the beloved green dinosaur—and honestly? He looks perfect.

The upcoming animated sequel expands the Mushroom Kingdom following the massive success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), which earned over $1.3 billion worldwide. Returning filmmakers Aaron Horvath & Michael Jelenic are back in the director’s chair, with Matthew Fogel once again handling the screenplay.

Produced by Chris Meledandri (Illumination) and Shigeru Miyamoto (Nintendo), the film promises more cosmic chaos, action-comedy fun, and fan-favorite characters—now with Yoshi officially joining the adventure.
